I can’t think of anything good that comes from organized religion. They don’t help the poor and they move around pedophiles within their organizations to protect their reputation. They don’t believe children or protect them

Pedophiles always protecting one another. Especially in the church

I’m already an atheist, but this book really drives it home how awful religion is when sexual predators are constantly protected by the church who is only worried about their reputation

I can’t help but laugh at this:
‘Jesus Christ,’ I said, sitting back, a hand to my forehead in astonishment.
‘Not him, no. The next rung down.’

In all seriousness, it’s no wonder the church moves around pedophiles only to have to move them again because they’re pedophiles.
