Confused AF again, like I’m on the precipice of linking all this mess together, but something is missing….I’m about to pull out a mfn whiteboard and some red string if this book keeps on.

We getting some clarification on what the draconjartet, Beserkr, and Ashman… cuuuuz they’re all different. Don’t even get me started on the Sacred Animals. (Cries in ‘idk Nordic mythology’). (But also thank heavens for audiobooks, cuz I wouldn’t pronounce nary a word or name from this book.)

Lush world building, love it… I still don’t know wtf is really going on. Lol our boy Baldwin has a mega hero complex. Chronic white knight hero syndrome. Very archetypical, very demure. See how he’s unilateral? Very uncomplicated, very “compass points north.”

That compass gunna get him into trouble though. (It already has. He can’t leave anything alone.)

Oh…. This one is gunna be a “all brain cells on deck” kind of book. (I’m here for it)
