Short Story 13, by Neon Yang: Wow, this really is the kind of fantasy sci-fi I love, have yet to read anything by this author but I really should soon. Something about their writing too, very enjoyable!

Short Story 12, by Cato: A poem on becoming a dragon. It was okay.

Short Story 11, by Barnhill: Not a huge fan of this one, felt like a children's story in a bad way. In the sense of being simplyfied and childish to a degree of not enjoyable. Felt like a bad Dr Who filler episode... The villain screaming in capslock was kind of a weird choice. Kind of tacky :')

Short Story 10, by R.F. Kuang: What an interesting way to write such a story. The mix of first and second points of view was, at first, a but confusing. But once I understood what was happening, I really enjoyed it. The idea to make offerings for higher powers has probably been around as long as history itself, and this case was quite sad. It's a wonderful short story though, loved it.

Short Story 9, by Klages: A refreshing autobiographical story. Was not expecting such from this anthology, but it was quite lovely.

Short Story 7, by Bolander: An unknowing elemental trapped in a different life because of greedy humans. Sounds simple, but it was quite enjoyable :)

Short Story 6, by Walton: A poem about Nidhog, quite nice. Got some more lore about the dragon from my boyfriend x)

Short Story 5, by Ken Liu: What an interesting way to explore "if it's free, you are the product" in a deeply fantasy sci-fi way. The way wee see these people change over the course of the half year we follow them is fascinating. Definitely my favorite story so far. It almost felt like a Doctor Who episode at first hehe, the way play with memories is sooo something i adore in sff!

Short Story 4, by Abraham: A sequence of a war veteran being chased and DND game being played, what an interesting way to write about "dragons" and dragons. "He has tits like a twelve-year-old girl" was a bit of an odd sentence though...

Realized I didn't count the first chapter with a poem as a story, oops, so the next is actually number 4 x)
