This book has been very slow to pick up for me but seems to be getting more interesting now. Also the scene when she gets drugged by the vampire and overshares with Reid is pretty damn funny.

Is it bad I don’t particularly like the FMC? She seems both cocky and at times irrational. These are not qualities I gravitate towards.

This poor book has been put on the back burner thanks to other books and frankly videos getting in the way. Felt a little bit slow at the start but now we're at the academy and I think it may pick up here? I don't know. So far, it hasn't really grabbed me but I haven't read enough yet to say that for sure.
