Mitch McDeere came into the firm only caring about the money he was going to earn. When he learns that the Morolto's, who are in the mafia, are running the firm he immediately wants out. This can connect to the concept of money is not everything because of how Mitch instantly only cares about he and his wife's safety. He is now wiling to do anything to escape the firm safely.

I would tell Mitch to give the FBI another chance and trust them to keep him safe. I believe that Mitch will be killed at some point because of the very dangerous Morolto Mob that is after him. Mitch was betrayed by a double agent in the FBI but I believe he should give them another chance. This would connect to the concept of second chances and I think he would benefit because the FBI usually doesn't mess up twice.

I really love the character Mitch McDeere in the book The Firm. He really connects himself to the concept of determination. In the beginning of the book he was raised in poverty but was still determined to go to college and make a life of his own. He went to Kentucky and eventually graduated at Harvard for law school. He is now determined to be the best lawyer in Memphis and i believe he will become much morethanthat

I am glad I am reading this book because it shows that it is possible to come from nothing and still make a very good living like Mitch McDeere had done. He came from living in poverty to a graduate from Harvard. This not only shows that you can come from nothing to make a living but also can give Americans who are in situations like that.
