So far, this has been a quick read. I'm finding some of the character's language interesting and somewhat distinctive (not in a bad way!), and I'll be interested to see how the history is woven into the story as time goes on.

Been reading this a while (embarrassing, yes, but it's true!). I still haven't really "gotten into" this book, but hopefully soon? Good story so far!
