Where is the plot? So far nothing resembling a plot has happened. Rue was in ~30 pages of fights and Bet started at the academy for sociopaths, which also involved fighting. Why should I care about either character? 60 pages is a long time to go without having that question answered.

Oh my god these descriptions of fight scenes just drag and drag. We get it. Rue is like 70, she has to be extra cunning and she gets extra hurt. She was once a fearsome warrior. She’s been fighting these mercenaries FOREVER. Can we do something else????
