Status Update

I’m not sold on Shane and Marguerite as a couple. I do like how plainly they speak and how she’s softening for him and he’s gathering courage for her, but this may be the first couple I don’t find believable!

The quest however is interesting and diving deeper into plot points that were touched upon or glazed over in previous books. Lady silver, the Saint, demons all of it!

I knew the broken sword meant something!! There is so much gray area in this one. I hate how much I empathize with Shane (did she name him Shane bc of all the same he feels??) and his religious trauma and guilt!

I immediately picture Marguerite as Meg from Hercules which honestly tracks with Shane
