JillAnnette Ooh I’m going to want to hear about this one.

DannaNicole So, here goes. People of all generations are selfish and our human default is to only really care about & seek what benefits us. In this way, Boomers are no different from any other generation. However, the author asserts sociopathic behaviors and supports it with definitions taken from the DSM V. The Boomers definitely differed from previous generations as a group, but as humans...they are recognizable. The problem come in because they had/have the numbers to shape, make, and re-make policy to their own ends. The rest of us selfish pigs have to compete and compromise with other similarly-minded pigs so no one ends up getting their way wholly. Except, Boomers. Most odd for me as a reader was reading about all the things the author points out as wrong and realizing I've been living under that my whole life. I don't know anything other than Boomer rule. It's been thought provoking. I highly recommend you read it.
