An interesting start and intriguing world building but the amount of swing-by-swing descriptive fight scenes (slop) is starting to annoy me already.
Hoping this picks up as it seems to be quite highly rated. I don’t like Tau much as a protagonist and the training arc is definitely dragging on a bit.
