60 pages in and I’m quite concerned about the redundancy of the writing thus far, but I will attribute this to his attempt to drive in the arguments he makes. He raises great points e.g. the significance of handicraft in an increasingly mechanized society, yet they seem shallow. I wonder if it’s because my mind is so integrated into design that these ideas are unfulfilling, as they are “givens” in my head…
