The ring is gone!!!!!

This last book is the best. It amazes me how such a large universe can be created without it feeling wrong. The scale is perfect. Almost at mount doom

Now we are getting somewhere. I must say I do prefer the slightly faster storytelling of the last book. It does keep me in a better flow.
