Gratuitously gory, deadly mayhem - but the goodies survive, the baddies are killed and the author's politics shine through! A good, mostly well-written, action-hero story that I enjoyed - mostly :))

I think the vengeance meted out by our super-hero, James Reece, is too gratuitously gory to be "entertaining", and he has yet to deal with a few more baddies on his "terminal list" to ensure the world is saved from a planned nuclear conflagration!

This is another great story by Jack Carr! The narrative can be a bit long-winded, but the information is interesting and contributes well to the story.

Almost two hours of pre-amble, provided mainly by Author Jack Carr, has covered a great deal of what I have missed by not reading/hearing the Terminal List series, other than book 01. Carr made it sound like I should regret not having done so.

I didn't like "The Terminal List" - #1 of the now re-named "James Reece" series, nor " Tom Reece 01 - Cry Havoc", but my enjoyment of Jack Carr's "The Fourth Option" suggests I should try one of the later books in this series, hence "James Reece 06".
