Well i only intended on reading a chapter or two but ended up finishing the entire section 1 of this book, oopsiesss! Was impossible to put down, the audiobooks music was also a big factor in me not being able to stop reading. I was trying to not mess up the pace of my buddy read tho, but i think it’ll be okay

Plagueis has successfully enlisted the dapper yet “insidious” Palpatine as his apprentice, scary!

Buddy read #2 w/ Mr Ron Jay continues as scheduled :) Darth Plagueis is daunting, and is living up to what I was hoping to see from him so far; calculated evilness. I’m so used to reading Light side of the force stories, it’s interesting to be on the other side of the fence on this one. Reading along w/ my physical copy and the official audiobook is very enjoyable. The audiobook has all those classic Star Wars sounds

Hoorah to my second buddy read! So excited for this one, prologue and chapter 1 down, and this one started off with multiple bangs. I can tell this read will be very colder, and darker than most Star Wars content, rightfully so. Plagueis is a banking clan member, and just said he’s “making an investment” into the dark side, that with special care, will reward him greatly. We shall see
