And it's a shocker to no one that this book has just about the most heart I've ever felt from SK. Left me feeling all the feels, even if the third act lost me just the tiniest bit.

Okay we'll see but at this point I'm surprised this isn't more well regarded--I am thoroughly immersed and moved!! A story about trauma and grief and horror and love, couched in fantasy and oh jeez it hits.
Maybe the ending will lose me but idk I think if you resonate with those themes this book is doing something!
