Not much to say. I’m enjoying it and ye…
They’re heading to Elfhame so that’s cool. Oak and Wrens interaction was nice I guess.
Also I realized a “plot hole”? It’s said that Tiernan was trained as a spy and was (I guess?) in the court of spies (or whatever their called) (mentioned in previous book I think) but in the trilogy I don’t remember Tiernan ever being mentioned —> next update

Even though it’s made out to be that he was at least close to the court of spies. Wouldn’t he at least be mentioned by one of them (if he didn’t personally know Jude)
Yeah, a little tangent just something I noticed but my memory might be off but I’m pretty sure this was something that I noticed in the previous book so I thought I might mention it now.

Aaah Oak can help her by leaving. Ok. I guess?
Kinda stupid in my opinion, what does she have to do currently that she wouldn’t have to do if Oak was gone?
I suppose Elfhame wouldn’t “attack”, but Oak was KIDNAPPED. Like… it’s not as if they would just do nothing.
They’d have to do some kind of statement do that people didn’t believe they could just take Oak and get away with it.

I was right! (Of course I was)
Wren is hurting because of her powers.
Hyacinthe mentioned that Oak might be the only one to be able to help her but I don’t really see how? Kinda seems like an excuse for Hyacinthe to tell Oak about Wren.
I wished he’d found out from her or through his own experience.

Locke. The dream? Was interesting I guess. Didn’t really see the point of it besides the fact to, I guess show ? us, that Oak is more like his mom than he likes to admit.
At least it was short

Oh Oak…
He’s being hurt and my prediction is that Wren gets very upset (as she should)
Valen is an asshole

Wren is hurt?
My guess is that the spell-breaking is taking a toll on her.

Still in jail but has only three daysss before his rescue (from presumably Jude?).
Oak keeps talking about how Cardan wants him gone but I don’t understand why he thinks that. Probably because of the prologue (that I can’t bother remembering much of.)

Getting better tho. 3.4/5⭐️

FINALLY DONE.
It was fine I’m being dramatic (but I am glad it’s over)
The prologue was backstory of how Oak found out about Madocs capturing and ye
Felt like it could have been shorten a bit.
