These stories are definitely a tad too advanced for me, but I am able to sort out the story from the context provided by what I do comprehend.
Unfortunately, this is a Hoopla ebook, so I do not have the luxury of re-reading every story closely in order to learn can conjugations and vocabulary.
For language study, I should probably read a print book (accompanied by an audiobook).

Either I overestimated my ability to read (short stories for language learners) in French, or... this is not truly for beginners.
I read the first story, written in what I suspect to be l'imparfait, and while I could suss out the plot from the context, it was a tad too advanced for me.
Will I continue reading, or will I DNF (and find a true A1-level graded reader)?
