Oh no, I've already filled in the main details in my reading journal, just waiting for the review and finished date and I want to DNF...well I'll just see this to the end, maybe I'll be less bored by the end of it.

I knew Io had been raped by the slaves of the Rope Makers, sad to have it confirmed :(... still an interesting story and I'm glad the SA wasn't described in any detail. She is just a child though so it's doubly terrible.

Why do I feel like Hilaeira and her child have been raped repeatedly, which is why the child can scarcely walk. That thought is haunting my mind, I hate sexual violence even written in such a mild way. Unless I'm wrong and they have done something else to them... I doubt it though. Will "the black man" ever get a name I wonder?
