This one wasn’t necessarily a difficult read, just trudged along. The characters were giving off soap opera vibes, which I’m sure some people enjoy, but that’s not my thing. It doesn’t really feel like the plot is going anywhere, unfortunately, and didn’t grab my attention enough to keep me reading past page 170. The dragon aspect is unique, with the way they shift into dragons and the magic surrounding it.
