I wonder how long I'm going to be in suspense about the contents of a letter written by Arthur's father. 😮 I hope that this isn't dragged out for too long.

Count on Arthur to be snarky and silly even when he feels like shit. 😆 It was nice of him to tell Sidney not to blame himself for awful crap that happened to Arthur. Unlike people in real life, fictional characters can be merciful to one another, depending on how or what an author writes.

I'm glad Gwen realized that she misjudged Agnes. That was big and self aware of her.

Gabriel is being a shit right now, but he's being that way to Arthur instead of Gwen. 😖😤🙄

D'awww the feel good mood in that chapter. I loved it. 🥰 Yes, Arthur has gone soft like he told Gwen during the chapter. He did some thoughtful things for her eighteenth birthday.

I don't feel emotionally invested in the romance in this book. That's not the author's fault. It could just be my mood. Gwen and Bridget's romance seems cute.
