For all the John Connolly fans, he does a brilliant job writing the first story which is unique to say the least. It reminds me of the Will Ferrell movie, Stranger then Fiction, but in place of an IRS agent Holmes, Watson and Moriarty are brought to life when Doyle kills them off in his final book
