“The Parliament of Trees” story itself was important. Provided Swampy with some knowledge but a lot more questions. But the subplot that framed the story? Very well put together.

I see a lot of similarities in this issue and how it’s constructed with Moore’s most notable work - The Watchmen.

“Ghost Dance” - creepy story but I know when 12-year old Tim read this he understood WTF was going on. So at least there is that.

Re-reading this 40 years later is far more fulfilling, no question.

The Bogeyman….. sometimes people are scarier than nightmares.

A one-and-done with a fill-in artist…. Was this an inventory issue? Maybe. But if so, one helluva inventory issue.
