A lot of the stories share similar things- a scarf, pimples, etc. I’m also fascinated by the food these people eat. I still think about the rubbery cold refrigerator bagels from Death In Her Hands.

Wtf Ottessa? The second story in a row about men degrading women. For the record, I’ve read 4 of her other books and gave them all 5 stars. I understand she is gross and uncomfortable- but at least with the others the writing and story development is there. Reading about depraved acts hits different when it’s a short story. Also, the writing in this is just meh so far.
