I'm going to need to find one really good feminist review of this book. There are *layers* to how this protagonist interacts with other women, and the complicated relationship she has with gender roles.

The "time travel" aspect of this story only just started now. But, just as far as the introductory stuff goes, this is NOT subtle. (Side note-- more than 3,000 people had holds on this book through my local library.)
