toward thew end of the book the weaknesses of the vampires start to surface.There is another faction of vampire that has tried to maintain somekind of a balance with humans and is very particular about who is turned This new race of indiscriminate vamps are seen as the ultimate threat to their existence and they will also employ any means to exterminate them.i very much enjoyed reading this book time for frankenstein

im almost done with the strain, im lovin it.im in the part where the vampires are undermining society and citizens cant do anything to help the goverment. there are 3 angels in the book and oxychol just killed gabriel and became the first of the ancients!!! now he is the host vampire. i cant wait to see what will happen next to oxychol.

"when i was told that this book was about vampires i thought it was going to be the boring old, vampires bite people and suck there blood... no WRONG. Theres a type of vampires that are part virus/part parasitic blood worms with a master vampire who has a plan to bring out about a bloodsucking apocalypse. So far a boeing 777 arrives at JFK and is on its course on the taramac when the plane pretty much dies and crashe
