dude every time i read books about liberation, they are always ALWAYS emphasizing the importance of love in the struggle for freedom. bell hooks, james baldwin, martin luther king, jr., paulo freire: they’re begging the oppressed to embrace love as the only viable force against oppression because the ruling class doesn’t have it. they’ve stamped it out of the oppressed because it’s powerful!!!!! love !!!!!!!!
