In search of some vaguely well written contemporary romance due to #goingthruit &lugging a 1924 em forster has provided very little assistance/ relatability. but frankly this is a wattpad premise dressed up in an attempt at sally rooney-esque detached non-communication;the failure comes at the obviousness and preparedness with which it presents that, it only works when achingly subtle (which rooney can actually do)
