I'm beginning to dread the ending. Listening to this story on my morning commute has almost felt like having my own visits with Ona and The Boy. I don't want them to end, even as I know I'm hurtling toward it.

Oh, poor Juke. When Quinn finally lets himself feel something, I'm gonna bawl like a baby.

So far, I am very charmed by this book. Still not a fan of Quinn, but I think I'm not really supposed to be yet. I feel for him, though, and am eager to see how he changes over the course of the book.

As is often the case with our book club books, I am going into this one knowing very, very little. But, the narration is VERY endearing, and already The Boy is an utter delight. The real question of this book is how it will convince me not to hate Quinn...
