I some how thought this series wouldn’t be for you.

I have always been hesitant to read this series, and your updates make me think I made the right choice 😆

Yeah 🫣 I haven’t had any desire to read it—there’s so many things that turned me off but everyone wanted me to read it so here we are!
As of right now I would definitely dnf it weren’t a buddy read/vlogging

Can I ask what's wrong with it? :) It's on my kindle but now I'm scared 😭😭😭

I mean, you really should only read books YOU want to read. hehe. I understand, as it was slow for me for most of the book.

Honestly the writing is just a lot of telling, no showing almost anything. Just stating facts and info dumping instead of weaving it through the story. The characters are super flat, almost no personality and they all feel almost the same, the pacing is slow.
And the plot is just kinda meh. There’s no real depth to it and you are given no real reason to root for the characters.

I mean that’s my opinion, and how I feel about it so far. No hate on the author, it’s just my feelings

Yeah totally! I probably will definitely not continue the series at least.

I can see those things and felt it for the characters too.
