Cassidy Towne told me she got something wrong early on,right after she started her column,about Woody Allen having an affair with Meryl Streep.Her source said Woody was obscessed with Streep ever since "Manhattan".Not true,she blew it.The other papers pounced on it & called her the Towne Liar.From then on,she said if it wasn't true& verifiable by 2 sources,she'd rather let someone else scoop her. Noble.For a scumbag.

I'll be starting this, my first entry in the Mid-Year I Spy-21 reading game, , this evening. I'm not expecting a stellar read but it should at least be as fun as the TV series, CASTLE (starring 🍁Nathan Fillion🥰), that was spun off of the "Nikki Heat book series, and which I take great delight in.
