damn lots of sadness in the midst of wanting to get better, a lost brother on the day of baptism, a death before an interview, a dead beat mom still a dead beat mom after years. these stories are touching for sure, i am grateful and inspired

i guess he was right in foretelling us that the stories would have no logical timeline to them. lots of them are sweet but the book is very religious, i guess i was expecting more loners anecdotes than a mix of them following a sorta central theme
