If i were to step into my book i would be in a very tough situation and would need to act quickly. The distopian world in which the characters live in would be very difficult to adapt to. Also, survival would be difficult with the scorching sun flares and the deadly virus that is spreading. I would most likely advise the characters to seek refuge because the future is not going to bring any relief or good fortune.

I am very similar to the protagonist, Mark, in The Kill Order. He is a brave man who is aware of his surroundings and likes to stay active. I am a very outdoor oriented person and am active most of the time which makes me very similar to him. Also, Mark is very kind to his friends throughout the book which helps him to complete many tasks. I can relate to this because I strive to be kind to my friends and family.

The Novel "The Kill Order" is very different in genre to "No Summit out of Sight." The Kill Order is centered around a distopian future and is clearly science fiction because of all the technology and unique things that don't exist in a modern society. On the other hand, No Summit out of Sight is a nonfiction novel that tells a happy story of a young man who achieves his dream and teaches others that they can too.

He looked around frantically, so dumbfounded and confused he didn't know what to do.

The characters in The Kill Order have no power to change the bad situation that they are in. Sun Flares have struck the earth and people have started a deadly disease within their village. The characters have little power because they are forced to leave and seek the people who started the virus. These people are in a fortified bunker and are unwilling to give answers, this limits the character's power.

The author has a very dark and evil message in the Kill Order. James Dashner uses the theme of Humans can do more Harm to each other than anything else in the world. This is delivered when the disease is shot at the villagers by the scientists in the Berg. This delivery allows the reader to understand the severity of the actions of the scientists and it helps readers to identify the novel's main problem/conflict.

In the Kill Order, James Dashner does a fabulous job of making the reader feel like they are there in the story. He does this by adding vivid details about the natural surroundings, and including every conversation that the characters have with each other. Also, he explains the characters actions throughout the book with great detail. Finally, Dashner explains each characters emotions towards the occurring events.

If the Kill Order had a soundtrack, the music would be upbeat, suspenseful, and full of changes in tone and sound. This is because the book starts off with a major conflict which is filled with action and suspense. Then after this conflict is resolved, the music would slow down and become more relaxed. The part where the music would relax is where the author starts to describe the characters in greater detail.
