This book is bizarre. I really dislike how unbothered everyone seems to be about a violent predator

bruh I like him too but just causally drinking wine given to you by a man you're hunting who broke into your home?

It's like she JUST realized he was serious and all it took as her friend getting brutally beaten, raped and tied to her fire escape

Like he calls her while violently assaulting someone and she just calls the police and goes back to sleep ??

This book is too blasé about a violent rapist who’s actively targeting her. Stephanie consistently just doesn’t do anything about the continuous harassment and hardly thinks about it.
