The king announces that Eadlyn will become the queen. The newspapers are saying that they think Eadlyn will be a good queen. Eadlyn and Hale talk. Hale tells Eadlyn that he can't marry her because he likes Ean(another boy in the selection). Eadlyn says that a she will let them leave one at a time after the coronation so, nobody will realize that Hale and Ean are in a relationship.

Edlyn had a towns meeting with some citizens. She asks her father if she could officially take over as queen. Her mom is going to appear on the Report next friday.

Eadlyn talks about her feeling with her servant. She has a Finnish lesson with the boys. Eadlyn and Henri almost kissed during the lesson.

Edlyn and Gunner kiss to see if it is worth him staying in the competition anymore. He decides to leave on a good note thanking her for her time. Eadlyn host The Report all by herself and dose a great job.

The queen has just woken up from her coma. Eadlyn and Kile express how they feel about each other. I thought this part of the book was cute because at one point in time they could not stand each other. Madrid sent Eadlyn a bouquet of flowers. She asked for them to be placed in another room, but she remembers that a queen can rule and still like flowers.

Eadlyn has sent all the boys home except the Elite 6. She is still worried for her mothers condition and is now the regent for the kingdom.
