How did this set the benchmark for all future Halo media before the first game even released? This is mind blowing having played through the first three mainline Halo games, they weren’t kidding when they said lore accurate Master Chief was peak. Can’t wait to finish this book off, it’s a genuine treat for all fans of the games.

Well I now understand why those space scenes were important, they dragged on for a fair bit but the payoff was definitely worth it. It’s really cool seeing Master Chief in all these different scenarios away from his suit, makes it all the more worth it for when we eventually see him embrace his suit!

The space chapters get kinda boring but I see why they’re important. I just want more spartan action man!

I see now why lore accurate Master Chief is the best Master Chief. How is this book so peak considering this released BEFORE THE FIRST HALO GAME EVEN RELEASED!? Genuinely am blown away with the characterisation of all the characters, reading this after having played through the first 3 Halo Games hits different, this really is the blueprint. Can’t wait to read more.
