Turns out its just one big metaphor for women and how they contributed to christianity. (S)

So they went to meet the fancy professor who is supposed to know a lot about the holy grail, yet when they meet them he says that the holy grail is a person rather than the cup. The shape of the cup is supposed to represent the word female. I think this is now gonna have something to do with the virgin mary or mary magdelene. (P)

This story is just like National Treasure. They have the cryptex thing that needs a code to open it or it will be destroyed. Inside is apparently a map. Everyone wants to find the cup of christ just like everyone wanted to find the treasure in national treasure and everyone is fighting/killing for it and the police are trying to stop them but some how they keep getting past. (C)

"Over the next half hour, Langdon showed them slides of artwork by Michelangelo, Albrecht Dürer, Da Vinci, and many others, demonstrating each artist's intentional and rigorous adherence to the Divine Proportion in the layout of his compositions" These artsists are discussed mulitiple times throughout the story. This shows that art is a common theme in the book (T).

I feel like Dan Brown is trying to show that the thrive for power is one of the worst things in the world. It seems like power is a common theme but it is always getting everyone into trouble or near death. (T)

Surprisingly Sophie reminds me of Michelle Obama because a lot of people give her crap even though she is good at what she does but people do not give her enough credit. In sophies case, who else can decode everything like she does?

Saunière just wrote that Langdon was basically the murderer and that makes me so mad because it is sophia's fault that any of this happened and if she wasnt there he wouldnt be in this mess

So it turns out this crazy math sequence means that you add two numbers and they add to the next number? For example, 1 1 2 3 5 8 and so on, how interesting! Now why in the world is that important? (F/A)

I am not sure if its possible to post a picture on here but i looked at a picture of the inside of the Louvre because there and the Hotel Ritz is where they seem to be spending most of their time and a visual would be nice (V)
