"Hold on," Alex said. "I mean . . . good job and all. But did you seriously make the password password?"(302). To think that Blitzen would make the password for a growing bag password is both bizarre and amazing at the same time. This is a bag that if it grows in the wrong place it can kill them all. And they can say this word on account and that's just great. Death by bag, why not.

"One of them . . . well, you Heartstone's personal rune, right? Perthro?" And the Magnus explained, "It means a cup wait to filled, or a person who's been hollowed out, waiting for something to make his life meaning."(289). Perthro means to be empty or waiting to be filled.

Heimdall laughed. "You have no idea. Once, I butt-dialed the apocalypse? So embarrassing. I had to texting everybody on my contact list, like,'False Alarm!'"(252). The amount of times that my mom has butt-dialed makes me sympathize with ever person on Heimdall's contact list.

Magnus thinks to himself, "But one thing I'd learned from being a son of Frey- I can't always fight my friends' battles. The best I could do was to be there to heal their injuries."(182). This quote really spoke to me when I read it. I know I can't alway be their when my friend get hurt but I know I can help afterwards no matter what.

"I've been considering a perthro bag- a bag that can never be filled. The bag would always feel empty and light. Most important, it would be any size you wanted." (289). Not going to lie I thought of Mary Poppins magic bag that fit everything when I read how the bag works. I grew of on Mary Poppins so I can appreciate the reference and if not it's still a cool bag.

"'You invented the selfie stick,' Alex said. 'I was wondering who to blame for that.'"(253) Alex says once Heimdall used his sword to hold his phone. I have to sympathy with Alex when I gained this knowledge because all I could is 'why'.

"Etiquette tip: If you're looking for the right time to leave a party, when the host yells, 'No one leaves here alive,' that's your cue."(229). I would have to agree with Magnus with this one. If I'm playing a video game and the enemy says you can't leave, you know it's time to book it.
