Slowly but surely, Lauren manages to destroy every last piece of whatever card box universe she has managed to create. Her ability to ignore each and every plot hole we pass it is honestly astounding, because there is really more hole than plot at this point. Wow I hate Paedyn and the 'blood on her hands', and the 'barely survived her last trials', and her absolute refusal of accepting the situation at hand.

I've read no more than three pages and every sentence feels like nails on a chalkboard, an abomination to the genre of romantasy and the art of literature as a whole. Alas, I must persevere, for I can have no right to hate on this book without having read it in full... Wish me well, friends.
