Chris Soooo...what did or do you think of this book? Finish it? I read it a few years ago and liked it, overall, even if it was a very dense, at times, slowly paced novel. I know the diary entry format might be hard for some people...what I really liked what the element of realism in it and the author's intent to try and reinvent the vampire myth. Something new and different anyway.

Cassidy Savage I really enjoyed it for the most part. I liked the diary style writing and the entwining of actual history. At times it just got so winded I had to take a break. I have it on my bedside table I just need to finish it.

Chris I completely agree with you. I'm reading a book like that now, but not similar in content. It is on my Currently Reading list. Glass Books of the Dream Eaters. A period novel (pseudo-Victorian era England) and easily one of the most unusual books I've read. But it is very long and kind of drags in parts. I want to put it down for a bit but then it gets good again. Good Morning, by the way! :)
