I did a deep dive into Ghostwriting, and I am shocked. Did you read a book with a lot of tropes and catchphrases lately? Well chances are… Does your favorite author publish more than 1 book every 2 years? Does a main character do things out of character? Chances are.. I understand the use of one in Biographies, but romance, it’s just a supply chain of subpar fiction.😢 We all need to eat, I guess.

Now my hands are itching to do some deep dive too but I have the feeling this is the kind of situation where it's better to stay delulu

Laura, I agree. I am honestly a little disappointed about it and now I feel better about my Dnf rate. 😁
Very weird. I’ve heard mumblings wondering if Jesse Kane is using a ghost writer because her ‘voice’ seems different in some of the newer books. I don’t read her enough to know. I would just feel so sad being a ghost writer. It feels like giving away your voice. I guess you gotta make that dollar. 🤷♀️
Snafuzled it’s a big business for up and coming writers who get experience and a flat fee. But it dilutes the original voice. It’s apparently a common practice 😭
It seems like the ultimate self betrayal for a true writer, but I guess when you become a ‘brand’ priorities change.
