Never really read a book set in the desert. I’m loving it, the descriptions are so vivid that although I’m not sure what some things are exactly I’m letting myself make it up. Anyway, never thought of the desert as dreamy or witchy or full of life but this book might change my mind. Might make me wanna visit Arizona I guess.

FORGOT TO MENTION, the book specifically says that something happens on April 16th in this universe and it’s just so strange that I haphazardly picked this up and it references the date that I’m reading the book on… waiting to see the significance of the day bc I’m again very intrigued
