Harry crashes and faints. Later he regains consciousness in a familiar house. Harry talks about the death eaters that he faced and Mrs Tonks is relieved that the protective charms cast on the house held out the deatheaters. Everyone eventually arrives and one of the Weasleys is bleeding badly from one ear. They discuss about how the death eaters found out about their plan.

Harry prepares before leaving the Dursley's house. He takes a moment to think about his past. Later, a bunch of others including Ron, Hermione, and other Weasleys come to meet Harry. Harry's plan is to turn the others into fake Harry Potters using a polyjuice potion to confuse the death eaters. There is a lot of fighting and harry's owl also dies.

At last the Dursley family believes Harry about magic. Harry tells them all about Voldemort and how everyone is in danger. After a dementor attacks Dudley and Harry, Dudley finally realizes that what Harry has been talking about was no joke.

Harry finds an article about Albus Dumbledore. After reading he learns a lot about him that he never expected. He then finds more papers about Dumbledore. After he reads them he is angry and in disbelief.

In the beginning of chapter 2 Harry goes back to Privet Drive and he is bleeding a lot. He opens his trunk and finds a badge that says Support Cedric diggory and Potter Stinks. he then finds an enchanted mirror that his dead godfather Sirius had given him.
