Timebox, a biting indictment of privileged entitled socialists. but also, not entirely wrong

I rly don’t understand if New Dawn is like, the government? or what. also sooooo funny to point at a full moon and go “New moon new beats new dawn” brother that is the literal opposite of a new moon

Timebox, a biting indictment of entitled socialists who grew up wealthy and privileged (caught caught caught) but also, I feel like she wasn’t necessarily wrong. also, this doesn’t remotely feel like it’s set in the New Dawn universe, I thought queer relationships were restricted? or just looked down upon

I mean, Nevermind is getting a little better but I still don’t enjoy it nearly as much as the first story, feels like a bit of a chore to get thru. a lot of just telling the reader how their hypothetical feminist sanctuary operates, feels lecture-y compared to, say, Psalm for the Wild Built or something

ok I was not feeling it at all at first but by the end of the first story I totally came around to it. intriguing setting, i’m curious if new dawn is a private company or a governmental organization or what. I think I may rewatch the Dirty Computer emotion picture bc I feel like the context might be pretty useful. also maybe i’m just not woke enough but so far I’m not enjoying the 2nd story, too heavy handed
