YOU GUYS. I AM OUT OF BOOKS TO READ! I have no more unread books on my kindle/ibook app. I refuse to download any freebies from Amazon because they have been so so so disappointing. And I'm too cheap to buy more because I have many vacations this year. The library is out of good books online to download, and if I read one more badly written female lead I might scream.
I honestly never thought this day would come.

My Familiar Stranger, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1..., free on Amazon. I enjoyed this a lot (strong romance, vampires), I do not recommend the following books in the series, though, and this book ends wrapped up. Do you have kindle-unlimited? I'd have some more recommendations.

The Emperor's Edge by Lindsay Buroker, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1..., also free on Amazon. While this book does not end in a cliffhanger by no means, I would have problems not to read further books because it is that good. Only hint of romance, very strong female character, lots of interesting characters, action.
Thanks, Heike. I'm going to try both of these. I don't have kindle unlimited, but I'll still take recs.
Wicked Games by Jessica Clare, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1..., 99cents on Amazon without kindle-unlimited. This is one of my all-time-favorites. Protagonists hate each other in the beginning, it is freak'n funny, and has some hot scenes in there as well, but well balanced with story. The way my kindle is set up I could probably borrow it out. I do have backups of all my ebooks.
sent a loan to *user*@yahoo.com, you should get an e-mail from amazon explaining how to download the book.
