NOW HEAR ME OUT…i understand that the author is trying to say that Stella’s illness makes it hard for her to put on weight…but the “eat a cheeseburger” line kind of cheapens the effect. Now the focus isn’t her struggle but how she got bullied for being skinny. I think she could’ve changed it to say that ppl make assumptions (ED for example) and how THAT frustrates her
