The villain in The Unwanteds, would have to be Alex's twin brother Aaron. Aaron is the villain because he is the High Priest of Artimè's rival, Quill. Also, Aaron is oozing for a way to take Artime of the map completely by sneaking into artime and trying to find their weaknesses. Also, Artime and Quill has had battles in the past and may happen in the future. Aaron is trying to learn magic to have a chance at battle.

The audience in the book are teens. I think that they are teens because the characters in the book are ages 12-19 unless they are an instructor at Artime. The leader of Artime is 12 and his instructors are older. There is also no swear words so therefore I feel like it is for teens. Also, the language isn't that hard but now and then there are some words that stump me and that I look up what the word or phrase means.

So far in the book, it is character driven. It is character driven because as Alex is getting used to being in charge of Artimè he knows how to run the mansion efficiently. Also, he does' get as nervous anymore as he did when he was a rookie to being head mage. In recent events, 12 little kids got catapulted on to the island. Alex decideds to treat them and do whatever for them to be healthy and safe.

The author of this book, is feeling the story in chronological format to make it a narrative. The chapters in the book are numbered and have titles. The titles usually give me a sneak peek of might what happen in the chapter. It is told in chronological format because it all happens in order based on time. Like first he woke up from bed, then he ate breakfast. Finally, he went to go save the world.
