Henry is the villain

Okay I get it it’s a story whatever but what 20 year old is this easily influenced. Like i know im great but it would have to be some magic convincing for me to want to give up my soul for beauty. Henry’s take about aging and ones worth only being in youth is unfortunately true at some level but only on the surface, it’s who you are in those years that are the foundation to who you are later in life

The painters, Basils, obsession with Dorian gray is giving Gatsby

Straight dive into the portrait and story hell yee. Love the conversation between these two guys they’re so silly together. But the artists immediate feeling of destiny tied to Dorian is odd.
