Halfway through this book and I don’t sense not a lick of romance. There’s way too much going on. It’s like “i have to worry about being destitute”and “my mom is crazy whore who sold my virginity” and “people wanna rape my sister” and then in the VERY back of her mind she remembers that she’s attracted to the MMC. Who’s awful in a dull way. Definitely a reprobate, but he don’t got the swag.
