Oh his declaration is heartbreaking

I love how obvious it is in his POV that he loves her and he knows he does. No confusion at all even though he’s never been in love

I cannot begin to understand the pressure she’s under and yet it is so realistic that she no longer loves what she’s doing but she thinks that she has to do it. I get that it’s frustrating for us readers but it all makes sense

“I just need to take care of my family.”

Finally a scene where they don’t ignore contraception

Grown ass men silently waiting for a baby to take his first steps is both hilarious and madly endearing

“Miller Montgomery, you cold, unattached woman. Get over here and cuddle with me.”

UGH I get his hesitation because he seems to want all in but that doesn’t really make sense to me like he never settled down before and there’s no reason to do so just because max is here, he’s a baby he won’t notice when she’s gone in a month
