I actually want to dnf this book because of Vincent. He is literally a wet wipe and hasn’t made his own decisions once so far. He is way too prideful and puts his people that he cares about sooo much in danger with his unwillingness to negotiate. Also Matilda was doing THE MOST for Vincent and he did essentially nothing for her in return. he didn’t even help her gain respect from his people, but he wants her to do so much and babysit his brother during a battle (atp just keep ur brother at home). he also seems really unappreciative of everything she’s risking for him. idk he’s just really annoying me rn.
